  • Overview

    Work with the current SharePoint Developers and System Administrators to support office SharePoint instances. Analyze and resolve problems related to data, software, and usage, monitor performance and maintain system security as it pertains to the Directorate’s SharePoint Sites..

    Responsibilities

    • Design and develop Business Intelligence dashboards
    • Develop and maintain SharePoint content and applications
    • Monitor SharePoint trends (site usage and growth)
    • Work closely with the SharePoint Development team and System
    • Administrators to ensure services and applications are operational and report issues as necessary
    • Optimize and configure SharePoint integration with other Office products
    • Stay current with emerging SharePoint development tools and strategies
    • Create documentation that outlines overall architecture within SharePoint site
    • Create documentation that defines all policies, procedures and configurations for SharePoint applications

    Qualifications

    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Required Knowledge/Experience:
      • Knowledge of modern programming languages (e.g. JavaScript and jQuery)
      • Experience creating responsive design SharePoint Applications
      • Experience with Office 365 and SharePoint 2016
      • Strong front-end web programming techniques (e.g. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, RESTful APIs) and frameworks (e.g., Foundation, Bootstrap, jQuery)
      • Strong written and oral communication skills
      • Experience in migration and capabilities with SharePoint 2010 and 2013/online
      • Experience Working with SharePoint Workflows
      • Minimum 2 years of front-end SharePoint development experience
      • In-depth knowledge of system design and architecture in SharePoint 2010
      • Knowledge of SharePoint upgrades and migrations
      • Knowledge of PKI infrastructure
      • Experience using Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement
      • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
      • Proven track record of applying analytical skills to a variety of projects and issues
      • Ability to engage with government customers and subject matter experts related to business needs, governance, and user adoption
      • Excellent customer-facing skills, as well as experience working with business users to gather requirements
      • Ability to work well on a mixed and distributed team
      • Highly self-motivated and directed
      • Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation
      • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
      • Knowledge with following software products:
        • Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010/2013 Online
        • Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Access
        • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
        • Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD): SharePoint Applications
        • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): SharePoint 2010 Configuration Certification
        • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Office 365
        • Commercial Cloud services is a plus
        • Microsoft Flow and Power APPS
        • PowerShell commands and functions
        • CodePen, Git, GitHub, and modern source code management practices
    • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
      •  2 years of direct government contracting experience

    Other Responsibilities

    • Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Program Manager
