  • Overview

    Responsible for the operational success of the program management team. Serve as the company’s primary point of contact to provide overall leadership and guidance for program/project team, and to manage stakeholders.


    • Facilitate and coordinate communication between the company and Copper River Shared Services management staff (Contracts, Legal, HR, Accounting, EPMO, etc.)
    • Manage Internal Program Review (IPR) activity that include data calls, tracking and reporting contract requirements, financials (Invoices, Payables, Receivables), customer satisfaction and risks
    • Manage monthly Management Review Meetings (MRM) and data feeds that support the metrics
    • Manage the program/project management team to include mentorship, capacity building, and training as appropriate
    • Monitor management performance and quality of contract performance in relation to deadlines, CDRLs, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations
    • Ensure all programs are compliant with contractual obligations and within financial goals
    • Monitor execution of corporate policies and procedures
    • Create individual development plans, complete annual reviews, and perform weekly one on one meetings as needed


    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Required Knowledge/Experience:
      • Minimum 7 years of experience successfully leading and managing mid to large teams
      • In-depth knowledge of the Federal government and other market segments, including nature of the market, competitive landscape, and contracts and acquisitions
      • Experience with task order-based contracts and maintenance contracts
      • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with senior management from partner companies as well as senior customer officials
      • Strength in hiring, managing, developing, coaching, and retaining individuals and teams
      • Deep understanding of human resources, employee performance improvement plans, and corrective action policies
      • Experience developing full cycle proposals
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Possess skills in strategic planning with ability to think and plan ahead
      • Strong presentation, reporting, and facilitation skills along with a proven ability to adapt and adjust messaging to different audiences and stakeholders
      • Detail-oriented and organized work ethic for efficient output in a voluminous, fast-paced work environment
      • Certified Program of Project Management Professional (PgMP or PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI)
    • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
      • Familiarity with Microsoft Project
      • Services and product knowledge of Splunk, BitGlass, Pure Storage, and HP

    Other Responsibilities

    • Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
    • Perform other duties as assigned by President
