  • Overview

    Be responsible for coding, designing, testing and releasing programs, program documentation, and integration of programs towards operational usage.


    • Code, test, debug, document, and install programs
    • Use coding methods for specific programming language to enhance or initiate efficient program execution and performance
    • Use Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL xml functions to extract data from e- QIP security xml file, transformed and stored the values to various tables and views
    • Create Oracle ETL packages/scripts to migrate data from legacy systems to new system of record
    • Create Oracle jobs and scripts to sync and support clearance verification
    • Develop scripts in support of BizTalk data transformation and transfer packages, to help synchronize data between Cloud systems and legacy database backend
    • Develop web services to present backend data through secure system to system interfaces to enable data transfers
    • Support Data Interfaces through database queries to map data elements between various systems, by scripting and cross relating fields
    • Monitor production programs for expected performance and diagnose errors and find root causes to errors and emergency problems
    • Take independent action to correct problems encountered during systems operations within authority level granted by the client
    • Maintain integrity of program logic and coding and establish required checks and balances for operational controls
    • Produce procedural documentation as required


    • Education:
      • Associate degree in computer science or information systems
    • Required Knowledge/Experience:
      • Have Technical Capacity with:
        • Problem Solving/Analysis
        • Initiative
        • Communication Proficiency
        • Work Independently
        • Time Management
      • Have or be able to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret government security clearance
      • Two or more years’ experience as a computer programmer
      • Knowledge of data processing system design methods, techniques and standards:
        • Visual Studio
        • SQL
        • Microsoft Windows Workflow Foundation
    • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
      • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems
      • Source code management

    Other Responsibilities

    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Services
