  • Overview

    Provide on-site technical, operational and strategic management expertise, and Network and systems security engineering support focusing on our customer’s enterprise cyber security mission. Our expertise and recommendations strengthen protections against increasing privacy and information security threats and ensure all risks to the Agency’s IT systems are mitigated and reduced.


    Be responsible for the operational success of one or multiple projects supporting our federal customer’s information assurance mission with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability. Manage personnel performing daily operational activities ensuring seamless team development and management, program delivery, and quality control. Responsible for initiating, executing, and closing projects, and manage all program stakeholders through direct interactions, reporting, and documentation.


    • Manage Program Team Leads to achieve project objectives
    • Be responsible for managing program related risks, issues, procurements, resource assignments, deployments, methodology deliverables, communications, and overall quality of project activities as well as customer satisfaction
    • Cultivate the relationship with the COR(s), and GTMs with the goal of ensuring program related objectives are successfully met
    • Manage project budgets to ensure projects achieve projected revenue, cost, and profit targets
    • Employ project management best practices and methodologies providing project and client leadership on behalf of the company
    • Develop and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed in accordance with the performance work statement
    • Ensure that project and corporate deliverables, weekly progress reports, and monthly performance reports reflect the work performed and results as it relates to the agency objectives and contracted deliverables
    • Work with Project Team Leads to develop objective performance measurements across all program areas, to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation, and goal setting for employees
    • Assist with preparing proposal content, writing, and coordinating proposal efforts throughout the solicitation life cycle
    • Ensure project management standards are followed by performing regular assessments of projects
    • Provide guidance, advice and coaching for Project Team Leads to understand how the organization runs projects


    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
    • Required Knowledge/Experience:
      • Minimum of 10 years of experience of federal project management
      • Experience with managing contract financials, and contract management
      • Proven Program and Project Manager experience and sound understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management
      • Proven experience in providing service, effectively interacting and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
      • Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
      • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with senior management from customer/partner companies as well as senior customer officials
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills
      • Must be able to understand multi-level customer/user expectations and concerns
      • Ability to manage meetings and priorities judiciously
      • Keen attention to detail
      • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
      • Deep understanding of Human Resources, employee performance improvement plans, and corrective action policies
      • Experience with task based contracts
      • Certified Program of Project Management Professional (PgMP or PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI)
      • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA or a Certified Information Systems Security Professional from ISC2
      • Experience managing the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and systems in the cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, or Google)
      • Experience working with stakeholders to understand the vision, business objectives, and critical success factors

    • Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Program Manager IV
