  • Overview

    Responsible for the operational success of one or multiple programs, ensuring seamless team development and management, program delivery, and quality control. Facilitate and coordinate communication between the Company and Copper River Shared Services team.


    • Develop and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed in accordance with the performance work statement
    • Instill a sense of accountability among team members by modeling tight oversight of individual and program performance standards
    • Review all program related documents for accuracy and to ensure that they fall in-line with program/contract specifications
    • Support Internal Program Review (IPR) activity that include data calls, tracking and reporting contract requirements, financials (Invoices, Payables, Receivables), customer satisfaction, and risks
    • Support monthly Management Review Meetings (MRM) and data feeds that support the metrics
    • Manage and report program financials to upper management, ensuring that contract is properly funded and allocated across the program
    • Employ program management best practices and methodologies providing project and client leadership
    • Travel to customer work locations to meet and maintain requirements; formal/informal communication with project stakeholders, customer reporting, and personnel management
    • Cultivate the relationship with the COR (s), and GTMs with the goal of ensuring program related deliverables and timelines are being successfully met
    • Follow established ISO 9001 policies and procedures as outlined in the Copper River QMS
    • Commit the necessary resources and make decisions in a timely manner to support project requirements
    • Develop and implement strategies that will maximize the synergies among program related areas


    • Education:
      • Minimum of a BA or BS in a Business required; Information Technology discipline a plus
    • Required Knowledge/Experience:
      • 2-5 years of project management experience and knowledge necessary to properly implement, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close projects
      • Technical Experience with information technologies such as networking, computer systems, or cyber security
      • Project management skills managing complex, multi-faceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth
      • Experience with managing contract financials and contract management and CDRLs
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
      • Experience and confidence in presenting program related issues and reports to both government and corporate upper management
      • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for Company’s mission
    • Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
      • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) based on PMBOK (Project Management Book of Knowledge)
      • Demonstrated success developing and evaluating program models, and selecting and successfully implementing innovative programs
      • Deep understanding of human resources, employee performance improvement plans, and corrective action policies
      • Familiarity with Microsoft Project
