  • Overview

    Manage all aspects of the Company SharePoint environment including customization, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and security of SharePoint platforms.  Gather requirements from stakeholders to ensure those requirements function properly. Work with Senior Software Developers, IT Subject Matter Specialists, and Project Managers to ensure all applications meet the requirements as outlined.


    • Work with customers to help define and document requirements
    • Work with development team members to modify existing and/or code new custom applications
    • Coordinate with data owners to ensure appropriate controls are placed on data distribution
    • Provide Tier 3 technical support to application owners when coding or integration issues arise
    • Responsible for application development is support of ECM projects
    • Responsible for web development and integration of multiple ECM components such as Alfresco, Ephesoft, KnowledgeLake, Simflofy and SharePoint services
    • Responsible for supporting, updating, and securing existing web applications
    • Responsible for total administration of Bureau’s web presence on our ECM operation to include USUN New York
    • Serve as liaison between senior management and IT management for SharePoint operations for its ECM operation
    • Assist USUN with SharePoint development and administration in support of ECM.
    • Conduct SharePoint training for domestic, overseas, and USUN customers, as necessary
    • Provide site architecture analysis and determine structure for the various SharePoint sites
    • Formulate, collect, and analyze data from business units, making recommendations to bureau management on ECMDesign and create web based forms
    • Implement workflow to automate administrative processes
    • Design and develop advanced reporting capabilities
    • Technical support in all facets of web technology from site planning, design, development, and maintenance to working with the database engineer on data base connections, data repositories, etc.
    • Implement and review security procedures and requirements to ensure opennet, classnet and devnet networks are compliant with Diplomatic Security and IRM standards
    • Prepare certification and accreditation materials for required applications
    • Assist in the design, acquisition, modifications and evaluation of ECM solutions and configurations


    • Required Knowledge/Experience:
      • 3+ years SharePoint administration experience (SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2016)
      • Experience evaluating existing business processes to recommend and implement appropriate SharePoint-based
      • Knowledge of ECM systems and integrations
      • Knowledge of SharePoint InfoPath forms
      • Knowledge of information assurance practices and methodologies
      • 3+ years training experience instructing end users on web applications and usage
      • Ability to train and mentor a small group of technical staff
      • Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision on routine SharePoint administration tasks in a highly charged and fast paced environment
      • Present SharePoint deliverable to audiences with a wide variety to technical knowledge and expertise in support of the design team Experience supporting SharePoint integration with ECM technologies such as KnowledgeLake
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with customer service, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
      • Experience supporting third party web parts in a web development environment
    • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
      • Experience with SharePoint 2010 is highly valued
