Work as point of contact in hardware and software troubleshooting and fault analysis, utilizing skills in complex hardware configurations and HP products. This position is rotating shifts that cover 24x7 shift work.


  • Utilize in depth knowledge of fault analysis and hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Repair complex hardware configurations and HP products
  • Answer, evaluate, and prioritize requests for assistance from clients experiencing problems with software, networking, and other computer-related topics
  • Liaise with the customer to collect information about problems and leads clients through diagnostic procedures to determine sources of errors
  • Follow-up after resolution to secure agreement for closing the incident/ticket with the originator
  • Contribute to the evolution of the tools used in production using the latest technology
  • Contribute to existing tools enhancements and new tools development programs and projects
  • Share technical knowledge to improve efficiency of an offshore technical support staff Prepares and contributes to technical and process documentation related to the managed environment and support operation activities


  • Education:
    • B.A/B.S. in related field preferred
  • Required Knowledge/Experience:
    • Ability to work rotating shifts covering 24X7 shift work
    • Hardware and software troubleshooting and fault analyst skills
    • Experience in the repair of complex hardware configurations
    • Hands on knowledge and experience as a Linux System Administrator
    • Ability to communicate with various levels of authority, both verbally and written, in a concise, appropriate manner
    • Work well as a team member and individually, with or without specific directions
    • Working knowledge of various HP products
  • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
    • HP Storage Solutions experience preferred
